Downtown Yuba City Night Market returns Thursday
YUBA CITY, Calif. — The Downtown Yuba City Night Market returns Thursday, Nov. 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Center Street, bringing live music, food and local vendors to the city’s core.
The bi-monthly street market runs on the first and third Thursdays for at least the next year.
Creative Thinkers, a local arts nonprofit focused on youth education and community engagement, organizes the event to keep participation accessible. Vendor booths are $25 on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign-ups are available at creativethinkers.art. Musicians can also apply for paid hourly slots on two stages through the group’s website or social media.
This week’s (Nov. 6) vendor list highlights a cross section of local makers and food businesses: Steelehouse Coffee, Dolita Creations, Alyssa’s Cookie Co., Jesus Jerky, Simply Natural, Prairie Platter Co., Pure Boba, Velsignet Botanicals, Fernando’s Cali Kitchen, Sweet Soul Charcuterie, What’s Poppn’ Dirty Soda, Bancroft’s Bounce Houses, Boonie’s Goodies, Creative Interiors and Creative Dragon.
The market sits beneath festoon lighting along Center Street and within steps of longtime downtown spots such as Sutter Buttes Brewing and Steele House Coffee.
Families will find kid-friendly activities alongside food and retail options. Organizers encourage attendees to bring friends, walk the corridor and support small businesses.
Looking ahead, downtown merchants will host a Holiday Preview on Wednesday, Nov. 13, along Plumas Street. Participating businesses include Creative Interiors, Etc. (731 Plumas St.) featuring wine, giveaways, appetizers, specials; K. Roberts (523 Reeves Ave.) featuring specials and customer appreciation goodies; E&J’s Music Lounge (623 Plumas St.); and the New Boutique and The Rack Home and Fashion Boutique (653 Plumas St.) will feature sip-and-snacks with specials.
