Grimes welcomes Wendolyn Rose Nov. 7
Grimes Community Church will host an evening of music and testimony with Wendolyn Rose on Friday, Nov. 7, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Rose is part of the church family and performs as a singer and songwriter. She also has credits as an actor and recently released a demo album of Contemporary Christian music.
Performing under the name Wendolyn Rose, she describes herself as a prophetic worshiper whose mission is to bring “the sounds of heaven” into Christian and secular spaces. Her biography points to an early start at the piano and a faith story that includes hardship, reconnection to Christ, and music that aims to point listeners to God.
The Nov. 7 program, titled “Songs and Stories,” will feature original music and testimony and is described as “authentic, soulful, spiritual.”
The event will be held at Grimes Community Church, 350 Main St., Grimes. Admission is free, with donations accepted after the program.
Refreshments will follow in the fellowship hall.
