New agenda portal live for Supes
COLUSA, Calif. —Colusa County has launched a new online platform for Board of Supervisors agendas and meeting materials, now live and in use. The change aims to make it easier for the public to access agendas and packets and to keep the county in compliance with posting and records standards.
The county has retired its previous agenda distribution system. Current subscribers must create a new account and re-subscribe to continue receiving agenda notices. Residents who have not subscribed before are encouraged to sign up.
To subscribe, visit countyofcolusaca.gov, select “Website Sign-In” at the top of the homepage, create an account or sign in, then choose the distribution lists you want to receive. The county advises residents to update preferences as soon as possible to avoid missing postings.
The way users view agendas has changed as well. The former table layout has been replaced by a calendar interface. To find a meeting, go to the homepage, select “Agendas and Minutes,” then click the meeting date and body. From there, users can view the agenda, open the packet, and download either item.
The new system currently supports the Board of Supervisors. County staff said it may expand to other boards and commissions in the future.
Residents who depend on email notifications should confirm their subscriptions today. Those who prefer to check the site without alerts can use the calendar to browse upcoming and past meetings, review agenda items, and download complete packets.
Officials describe the platform as an upgrade that standardizes how agendas and packets are posted, improves usability on the web, and supports compliance. The county continues to direct residents to the Board Clerk’s Office for help at 530-458-0508 or boardclerks@countyofcolusaca.gov.
