Region’s FFA alumni earn American FFA Degree

Twenty-eight recent FFA graduates from Colusa, Sutter, Yuba and Butte counties earned the American FFA Degree on Nov. 1, the organization’s highest honor for sustained leadership, scholarship and supervised agricultural experience.

Colusa County honorees: Julius Cervantes (Colusa FFA); Allison Traynham, Colton Vanlaningham, Roberto Ramirez, Laura Rivera, Shelby Nissen, Rebekah McPeek (Arbuckle FFA); Anthony Duarte (Williams HS); Emma Hendrix, Bailee Haywood, Ryann Dennis (Maxwell FFA).

Yuba-Sutter and Nevada County honorees: Alex Huerta, Claira Goss, Jacob Flavell, Taelynn Demott, Christian Cisneros, Ava Carberry, Makenna Book (Marysville FFA); Helen Repka, Katharine Gallagher (Yuba City FFA); Braden Smith, Layla O’Connor, Luke Long, Morgan Fowler (Grass Valley–Bear River FFA).

Recipients received the gold American FFA Degree key and a certificate at the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo. The degree caps years of work, including documented SAE projects, chapter leadership, community service, and academic standards.
